Since 1935, FAMU Federal Credit Union has proudly served our members and our community. Located at 1610 S Monroe Street in Tallahassee Florida, we are dedicated to providing financial services with a spirit of excellence at an affordable rate.

We are committed to the communities we serve. Though we were formed by members in 1935 with the sole purpose of providing financial services to the employees of Florida A&M University, today our membership is open to include FAMU Alumni, FAMU students, and members/employees of the various organizations listed below.

Who can join? (FAMU Federal Credit Union's field of membership)

• Employees of the Florida A&M University Federal Credit Union
• Employees of the Florida A&M University
• Students of the Florida A&M University
• Employees of Metz Culinary Management Food Services at Florida A&M University
• Members of the Bethel Missionary Baptist Church in Tallahassee, Florida
• Members of the Tabernacle Missionary Baptist Church in Tallahassee, Florida
• Members of the Jacob Chapel Baptist Church in Tallahassee, Florida
• Voting members of the Tallahassee Branch of the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People (NAACP) located in Tallahassee, Florida
• Jerusalem Missionary Baptist Church of Tallahassee, Florida
• Members of the Florida A&M University National Alumni Association, Inc.
• Relatives of the above-mentioned groups are eligible for membership. *

*Relatives include: Spouse, children, parents, stepparents, sisters, brothers, adoptive relationship, grandparents, and grandchildren. Note: FAMU Federal Credit Union requires proof of relationship for the above membership eligibility groups.
